Short-term renting or running an Airbnb means renting out your typically downtown apartment to tourists for a few days at a time. This market is significantly different from long-term renting even in it’s taxation and licensing. Utilizing your property this way is called „accomodation service”which is not equal to real estate renting.

The expected profit in this market is approximately the double that of long-term renting but only for those who can utilize it’s benefits at most. It requires bigger financial and time investment although the higher risk comes with higher yield. Business takes place on other platforms and knowledge of foreign languages is essential. Not every real estate is suitable for becoming an Airbnb apartment.
